Ryan Byrne is the founder, co-frontman, and bassist for New Hampshire power pop punk rock band Nostalgic Distortion.

Ryan Byrne formed Nostalgic Distortion in 1994 on the campus of Plymouth State University in Plymouth, New Hampshire. ┬áNostalgic Distortion (ND) was most active from 1994 – 2004, playing small pubs, clubs, and bars around New England and releasing three albums on Byrne’s record label, Dissonance Records. ND was Byrne’s primary band for ten years, until his move to Nashville, Tennessee in 2004 relegated the rock group to side project status. In 2013, ND began performing annual “anniversary” shows (during their anniversary month of October) at their old stomping ground, the Lucky Dog Tavern and Grill in Plymouth, NH. These anniversary shows are a benefit for JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation).
